J&S Drilling completed another successful drilling program for a Tier 1 client. Completing the Pilbara monitoring Bores delivered on a Tier 1 site.

We first received approval for equipment compliance and all on-boarding prerequisites. We then mobilized to the Pilbara and completed 13 monitoring bores. The drilling program was delivered with a Fraste FS300 drill rig using the Rotary Mud drilling methodology.

Installation of Monitoring Bores

The Monitoring Bores were installed using 50mm threaded PVC casing and then constructed to the exacting specification.

The crew then drilled over existing bores and removed the casing at two additional sites. Before installing new bores to the updated specifications.

Site requirements

The drill crew used an enclosed mud system and completed the drilling program to the highest environmental standards.

The driller holds a Class 2 Drillers Licence with endorsements in Rotary Mud, Auger and Rotary Air.

The crew also hold Nationally Accredited drilling industry qualifications including the Certificate III in Drilling Operations.

In conclusion, the listed project goals were achieved to our ISO Certification standards:

  • Safety Incidents Nil
