SCAM Alert – Mining jobs linked to J&S Web page

There is a scam trying to extort money from people looking for jobs in mining and they are using a link to the J&S Drilling website indicating we are the host company promising mining jobs.

They advertise job vacancies on ‘Gumtree jobs’ and ‘Facebook’ aiming to get people to email them. Then they promise a job once you submit your resume, if you pay $270 to complete a course with ‘Job Ready Training’

We have reported the scam to official channels for prosecuting those involved.

Key information: I encourage you to search the reference names they use – They have an online presence

• Contact name being used as agent in QLD: Jannita Holland – is not a J&S employee and does not represent our company. Suspect this is a hacked Facebook page advertising for ‘Entry Lvl mining positions’. Also states this person is working for Santos.
• Paramount mining concept – not found online
• Bank Account name: Job Ready Training – not found online
